I did a refi on my home and now I have been advised that there is fraudulent activity in the processing of the loan, and the agent who wrote the loan also notarized his own work with someone else’s notary seal. The seal belonged to another employee w/ same company. She was never present at the closing.

There is no regulation or governing body for mortgage brokers, which is why there is so much fraud and misrepresentation.

If the person who acted unethically or fraudulently works for a company, your best bet is to make a claim with them. If they don’t respond, file a small claims lawsuit. You will need specific proof of the fraud or unethical activity.

George Washington sets standard of ethics for most things.

If there is a dollar to be had, what will some do?

If in taking advice the giver can gain either your money or intellectual properties, beware, think it over.
